Non-Runner & Project Car Transport
Non-Runner & Project Car Transport
Doesn't start, doesn't steer, doesn't roll? We've heard it before. If other transporters have
said no — call us.
East Coast Towing & Transport
How It Works
Non-runners are our speciality. Project cars, barn finds, vehicles mid-restoration, race cars on dollies, cars with broken drivetrain or missing components — we’ve transported all of them.
Many car transport companies won’t touch a non-runner. They don’t have the equipment or the experience. We’ve built our loading process around exactly these situations.
Every non-runner enquiry is assessed individually. Tell us what it is, what condition it’s in and what’s stopping it from moving under its own power — and we’ll tell you how we can move it.
Tell Us the Full Story
When you enquire, give us as much detail as possible — what the car is, what's wrong with it, whether it can be pushed, whether brakes work, ground clearance. The more we know, the better we can plan.
We Plan the Loading Method
Depending on the vehicle's condition, we'll use winching equipment, dollies or manual pushing. This is confirmed before we arrive — no surprises.
Loaded Safely — No Damage
Non-runners require extra care in loading. We take the time needed to load properly rather than rushing and causing damage.
Delivered to Workshop or Home
We deliver directly to your workshop, restoration specialist or home garage. The vehicle is positioned as close to your door as possible for easy unloading.
Common Questions
What counts as a non-runner?
Any vehicle that can't be driven — won't start, no steering, missing engine, on jack stands, or simply incomplete. If it can't drive onto a trailer, it's a non-runner job.
What if the brakes are seized and it won't roll?
We carry winching equipment for exactly this situation. As long as the vehicle can be safely secured, we can transport it.
Is there a weight or size limit?
Our trailers handle standard passenger vehicles and most sports cars. Contact us with the vehicle's make, model and approximate weight and we'll confirm it's within our capacity.
Do non-runners cost more to transport?
They can, depending on the loading complexity. We'll quote specifically for your vehicle — no surprises.
Can you collect from a barn or paddock?
We've done it before. Access matters — if we can get the trailer to within winching distance of the vehicle, we can usually make it work.
100% Enclosed
Every run uses fully enclosed rubber-sealed trailers. No open carriers, ever.
